    Controllable Infinite loops

    Post  isaac879 on Sun Jul 29, 2012 8:38 am

If you create a loop where you can gain life points with: spring of rebirth, brionac and two fabled cerburrel. The loop is where you discard fabled cerburrel to bounce the other cerburrel with brionac's effect, then the discarded cerburrel is summoned because it was discarded, so you gain 500 from spring of rebirth and still have one cerburrel on the field and one in the hand so the loop can be repeated. Can you declare that you do it infinitely or do you have to specify the number of time you repeat it?

Controllable loops are accepted because exactly you can stop them anytime. If you do this in a tournament you can wait until time is up so that you win by LP difference.

P.S.1:There is also another LP loop made by these:

Flint:A monster equipped with this card loses 300 ATK and cannot change its Battle Position or attack. If the equipped monster is destroyed, select 1 monster on the field and equip this card to that monster.

Flint Lock:LIGHT,Machine,ATK1500,DEF800:Once per turn, you can equip a "Flint" on the field to this card. You can take any "Flint" equipped to this card and equip it to another face-up monster. This card can only be equipped with one "Flint" at a time. While equipped with "Flint", this card is unaffected by "Flint's" effect and cannot be destroyed by battle.

Morale Boost:Continuous Spell:Each time a player equips an Equip Spell Card, increase the Life Points of the controller of that Equip Spell Card by 1000 points. Each time an Equip Spell Card is removed from the field, the controller of that Equip Spell Card takes 1000 points of damage.

With each Lock's effect, you equip Flint to the other lock and each time gain 1000 LP. In a Fabled Deck, even without the Spring of Rebirth, if you have even 1 more LP, a loop is suggested to win by that technicality. In DN, the more LP part is not needed. You just hope they quit.

You declare you do it indefinitely and declare the number in which you want your LP to stop increasing. Say something like 4 billion LP. You DON'T sit there and do it until you reach that number. This is considered stalling. You explain the loop, you declare the number, and you move on.

    Answered and locked.
