    Here is a list of Normal Spells that benefit (by which I mean onerous activation conditions are bypassed) from being sent to the Graveyard by Diamond Dude?

    Normal Spell Cards which lose out under Diamond Dude
    Nightbeam [GAOV-EN055] (as this card isn't activated the target card can be activated in a chain to Diamond Dude's effect activating)


    Normal Spell cards which have timing activation problems under Diamond Dude
    Cold Wave - general agreement is that it has a timing requirement that cannot be bypassed by Diamond Dude
    On that basis I would also suggest:-

    and
    The Secret of the Bandit [LOD-EN085]
    also have timing requirements that cannot be bypassed by Diamond Dude

    This also agrees with Curse of Fiend not working with Diamond Dude.


    Normal Spell cards whose activation conditions are by-passed but can't be used unless those activation conditions are met
    There are also some cards whose activation conditions are by-passed but can't be activated by Diamond Dude if that condition isn't actually met as they wouldn't be able to resolve properly without those conditions being present.
    So these don't actually get any benefit from Diamond Dude either:-
    e.g.
    Armor Ninjitsu Art of Alchemy [ORCS-EN051] (no need to control a "Ninjitsu Art" Card)
    Magical Blast [SD6-EN017] (no need for a Spellcaster to be on the field)
    Triangle Ecstasy Spark [RTDS-EN039] (no need to have "Harpie Lady Sisters" on the field, which is an activation requirement specified in its rulings)


    All other Normal Spell cards should work with Diamond Dude but won't necessarily get any particular benefit from it.
